1. What is repatriation assistance (or emergency and medical assistance)?
In the event of an accident, illness, or more serious issue, this benefit provides you with 24/7 assistance, simply by calling or sending an e-mail. Depending on your situation we can, for example, coordinate medical transport to the nearest hospital, or even medical repatriation. You can find your assistance contact details at any time via your Easy Claim app.
2. What is personal liability (private capacity)?
This benefit provides financial cover in the event of bodily injury or property damage that you may involuntarily cause to others. This cover is included in some insurance policies taken out in your home country, but it does not cover damage caused abroad.
3. How does luggage insurance work?
This cover applies in the event of loss, theft, or destruction of your luggage and personal effects during your round trip and stay abroad. Your luggage is covered up to €1,600. Valuables are compensated up to €800 (included in the overall limit of €1,600).
4. What is the death and disability benefit?
The death and disability benefit includes:
Payment of a lump sum to the beneficiary(ies) in the event of accidental death or disability caused by an accident.
Payment of a daily allowance or disability pension to compensate for loss of income in the event of illness or accident.
5. How do I report a theft, loss of luggage, or a claim related to personal liability cover?
For all claims, you must submit your request online to our assistance provider CHUBB.
Visit the CHUBB compensation site to file your claim directly online and upload the necessary documents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be immediately issued with a file number.
