
APRIL International achieves top IPMI service rating for fifth consecutive year
APRIL International has once again been awarded a 5-star service rating in Health & Protection’s latest International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) report, marking the fifth consecutive year of receiving this recognition.
The provider achieved the highest overall score in the report with 86.4 out of 100, finishing more than five points ahead of the second highest-rated provider. It also stood out as the only IPMI provider to achieve a score above 90, earning an impressive 91 rating for speed of response to queries.
The Health & Protection IPMI report gathers feedback from brokers and intermediaries across the market, assessing providers on key service areas including claims handling, compliance support, quote response times, technology, staff expertise and overall broker support.
APRIL International led the rankings across all seven service categories:
Appreciating and developing business – 86.3
Claims handling – 87.5
Compliance support – 83.6
Ease of use of application support technology – 80.6
Quote and support to queries – 88
Speed of response – 91
Staff expertise and problem solving – 87.6
Broker feedback highlighted APRIL International’s responsiveness, personalised support and strong relationship management. One adviser praised APRIL International for being “quick to respond and realising that not everyone’s situation is the same”, while another commented that APRIL was “always on hand to help”.
