Learn how to access confidential Stress Management Counselling through APRIL to take care of your mental wellbeing.
Stress is one of the most pressing health issues worldwide. The World Health Organization (WHO) has described stress as the “health epidemic of the 21st century,” linking it to anxiety, depression, and burnout. According to a 2023 Gallup survey, 44% of adults worldwide reported feeling stressed the previous day, showing just how widespread the issue has become across cultures and regions.
While stress is a natural response that can sometimes help us perform better, persistent or overwhelming stress can have a significant impact on both our health and daily life. It may show up as fatigue, irritability, difficulty concentrating, or disrupted sleep and, over time, it can quietly erode well-being, relationships, and job performance.
As an APRIL member, you have access to a valuable resource: our Stress Management Counselling service. This guide explains what Stress Management Counselling is, when to use it, how it works, and how you can access it easily through the Easy Claim app.
